Head in the Game is proudly involved in a charity partnership with, Shine. 

Shine aims to empower people with mental ill health and their families through support, information, and education. Shine also advocates for social change, promoting and defending the right of all those affected by mental ill health to equal rights and quality services. 

This fantastic organisation was first set up by a group of family members and professionals from the Cluain Mhuire Community Mental Health Services in Blackrock, Dublin back in 1979.

Originally, the organisation was set up to support people living with schizophrenia. However, in 2009, they changed their name to Shine, and developed to offer supports to everyone affected by mental health difficulties, along with their families.
