Mental Health Awareness Month
As we approach the end of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth2022, we want to thank all men’s and women’s clubs in the SSE Airtricity League for once again supporting the annual captain armband initiative, proving the need for a discussion around mental health goes #BeyondRivalries.
The small gesture of each team captain wearing the armband during this month is a reminder to everyone involved in the game; players, coaches, referees, volunteers and supporters that they are not alone and it's ok not to be ok.
While this particular campaign runs in May, Head In The Game will continue to build the discussion within our society year round.
